How it Began
Fearless and Fabulous Movement was created from a simple belief: every woman deserves to feel confident, capable, and prepared to protect herself.
For decades, Grand Master Michael Davila has dedicated his life to teaching martial arts, self-defense, and personal development. Throughout his years of instruction, he noticed a troubling pattern. Too many women shared stories of feeling vulnerable, being followed, experiencing harassment, or simply living with the fear that they might not know what to do if confronted with a dangerous situation.
He realized that traditional martial arts classes weren't always the answer. Many women weren't looking to earn belts or compete—they wanted practical skills they could learn quickly, confidence they could carry every day, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they have options.
That realization became the foundation of the Louisiana Martial Arts Organization and The Fearless and Fabulous Movement.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission goes far beyond teaching physical techniques. We empower women through education, awareness, prevention, and realistic self-defense training designed for real-life situations. Our seminars combine easy-to-learn techniques with safety strategies, situational awareness, confidence-building, and the mindset needed to recognize danger before it becomes a crisis.
But Fearless and Fabulous is about more than self-defense.
It's about helping women discover their inner strength, stand taller, trust their instincts, and realize they are stronger than they ever imagined. We believe confidence changes lives, and when women feel empowered, entire families and communities become stronger.
Today, Louisiana Martial Arts Organization and The Fearless and Fabulous Movement partners with businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations, and community groups to provide engaging, educational, and life-changing women's empowerment seminars throughout Louisiana and beyond.
Our goal is simple:
To create a world where every woman has the knowledge, confidence, and courage to live Fearless and Fabulous.
Because confidence is powerful. Preparedness saves lives. And every woman deserves both.
